MCP
A read-only server for one tenant. Tools return counts and rows. They do not recommend a policy, score a domain, or call a model.
mailfact-mcp on npm. Source on GitHub.
Token
Mint a token in the product. A read scope is enough. The raw value
is shown once. It starts with dmr_. Put it in
MAILFACT_API_TOKEN.
MAILFACT_API_URL defaults to
https://api.mailfact.app. A self-hosted deployment sets that
variable to its own origin, with or without a trailing
/api/v1.
Cursor
Install in Cursor, then add the token. The install link does not carry it.
Or ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"mailfact": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "mailfact-mcp"],
"env": {
"MAILFACT_API_TOKEN": "dmr_…",
"MAILFACT_API_URL": "https://api.mailfact.app"
}
}
}
} Claude Desktop and Claude Code
The same mcpServers block, in
claude_desktop_config.json or the project's
.mcp.json.
What it can read
Domains, alignment, sending sources, and report rows. It cannot mint a token, start checkout, or read a forensic message body. The tool list is in the readme.
